UI labs expands management team with Bastian Heinrich

  • UI labs strengthens its position as one of the leading software and consulting companies in the financial sector
  • Specialised IT service provider in the area of front office and data management

Frankfurt am Main, 8 April 2024. The IT service provider and data specialist UI labs intends to focus even more strongly on expanding its services for institutional clients, asset managers, insurance companies and family offices in the DACH region. The growth targets are emphasised by the expansion of the management team. Bastian Heinrich (45) has joined the management team of the Universal Investment Group’s 40-strong subsidiary with immediate effect.

Heinrich has been with UI labs since 2012. The computer science graduate has managed numerous successful projects for the company to introduce flowsuite® in the DACH region. As Executive Director, he was previously responsible for product development, the implementation of new customers and day-to-day operations. He will continue to manage these areas in the future.

Front office solutions still in high demand

UI labs CEO Matthias Biedenkapp emphasises: “Bastian Heinrich’s many years of experience as a project manager and in the development of flowsuite have been a key driver of our growth in recent years. With him as part of the management team, we are placing a special focus on this area.”

With significantly expanded teams in Frankfurt and Krakow, UI labs is focussing on the further development of the front office solution flowsuite® based on SimCorp Dimension. In the course of internationalisation, the customer base has also expanded beyond the DACH region. The platform manages more than 1,000 funds and offers a complete cross-asset view of risk, performance and regulatory reporting – without the need for a cost-intensive proprietary infrastructure on the client side. The software is customised to the needs of the customer and can be easily scaled.
