Contact form

When you send us queries using our contact form, we store the information you provide in the query form, including the contact details you provide there, for purposes of processing your query and in the event of any follow-up questions. We do not disclose this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form takes place either for the initiation, implementation or settlement of a contractual relationship (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DS-GVO) or on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO), which you give by entering the relevant data in the contact form. You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you request its erasure or withdraw your consent to storage thereof, or until the purpose for which it is stored ceases to apply (for example, when processing of your query has been concluded). Non-waivable statutory provisions, particularly on time limits for storage, are not affected.

If you would like to send us a message anonymously, you are welcome to use a “throwaway” email address that does not reveal your identity.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Inquiries by e-mail, telephone or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, phone or fax, we store and process your query, including all personal data indicated therein (name, query), for the purpose of handling your request. We do not disclose this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DS-GVO, insofar as your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO). You give your consent by sending us personal data that you have not requested. You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you transmit to us via contact queries remains with us until you request its erasure or withdraw your consent to storage thereof, or until the purpose for which it is stored ceases to apply (for example, when processing of your query has been concluded). Non-waivable statutory provisions, particularly statutory time limits for storage, are not affected.

If you would like to send us a message anonymously, you are welcome to use a “throwaway” email address that does not reveal your identity.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Social media

The social media channels operated by us only serve the purpose of communicating with those users in a way that is convenient for them who are already members of the respective network. It is not necessary, nor is it recommended by us, to become a member there in order to contact us. We also communicate information through other channels.

We have no influence on the scope of the data processed by the channel operators, nor do they inform us outside their own data protection information which specific personal data is processed and how. As a member of such a service, you have consented to the processing of your personal data by the operator and can, if necessary, influence the scope of the processing by making the appropriate settings in your user profile there.

Your data, your device (content) and your usage behavior are analyzed in detail by the channel operators. Cookies or comparable techniques or the storage of IP addresses are used for this purpose. The data is essentially used for advertising purposes and market research. Thus, based on your user profile, you may receive advertising tailored to you within the channel or also on other sites that are able to use the techniques used by the channel operators.

As a logged-in user of the site, this information is also used independently of the respective device. Part of the data processing may be justified by a legitimate interest in efficient advertising via a globally used platform (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO). For more details on this and your user/stakeholder rights with the platforms, please refer to their respective privacy policies.

YouTube (with enhanced privacy)

This website embeds videos from YouTube. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We only use YouTube with your prior consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO), which you give either in the cookie banner or in a button placed above the respective video. In addition, we have implemented YouTube in the so-called “extended data protection mode”. According to YouTube, this mode causes YouTube not to store information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. The transfer of data to YouTube partners, on the other hand, is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode. Thus, YouTube – regardless of whether you watch a video – connects to the Google DoubleClick network.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, YouTube may store various cookies on your end device after starting a video. These cookies allow YouTube to obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience, and prevent fraud attempts. The cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them.

If necessary, further data processing operations may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no control.

Your consent can be revoked at any time. To do this, delete the (corresponding) cookies in your browser.

For more information about privacy at YouTube, please see their privacy policy at.: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Data subject rights

In principle, you have the right to request confirmation free of charge as to whether we are processing personal data relating to you. If this is the case, you generally have the right to request information about the processing pursuant to Art. 15 DS-GVO.

You also have a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, a right to data portability as well as a right to object and the right to revoke consent at any time. The lawfulness of the processing until the time of a revocation/objection remains unaffected. For the declaration of a revocation/opposition, you will not incur any costs other than those of the basic tariffs. If costs are incurred when exercising the other rights, we will inform you in advance.

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (Article 22 GDPR). In this context, please note that we use so-called “spam filters” for e-mail traffic to protect our systems. If you have the impression that your e-mail message does not reach us, please contact us via another communication channel.

If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data by us or if you believe that we have not processed your personal data correctly, please do not hesitate to contact us using the contact details provided in the imprint.

However, you can also contact our data protection officer directly (see above for contact details) or exercise your right of appeal to a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for us is:
Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, https://datenschutz.hessen.de

If you wish to assert your rights in relation to your personal data, or if you have further questions about the use of your data that have been provided to us, please contact us as follows:
